The company that operated as Charter airline since 1990 was transformed to a Low-Cost airline in 2005 and today is the second-largest airline in Turkey.

Pegasus Airlines belongs to Esas Holding, one of the owners of Air Berlin. This is why two companies are closely cooperating and have a codeshare agreement.

Pegasus Airlines also have codeshare agreements with Azerbaijan Airlines, IZair and KLM.

Pegasus Airlines, as all other low-cost companies, charges food and beverage on its flights. However, this company has an award programme for its customers, Pegasus Plus, that enables travellers to earn award points after each flight. One point has a value of one Turkish Lira.

With gathered points, travellers may pay airport taxes, additional services at the airports or purchases during flights.

The Pegasus Airlines fleet consists of 41 Boeing 737-800s and two Boeing 737-400s, with an average age of 3.6 years. Pegasus Airlines operates a one-class interior configuration on all of their aircraft.

The company is flying to about 100 destinations in Turkey, Europe, Middle East, Iran, Persian Gulf, the Caucasus region, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan.
